Steven's Other Sites
Web sites also related to Steven.
- Misfit Studios, the web page for Steven's small press publishing company
- Steven's personal Facebook page.
- Misfit Studios' Facebook fan and news page.
- Misfits In Action (MIA), my (currently) aborted attempt at writing and publishing a web comic. Shawn could no longer collaborate with me due to other considerations, but I'd be willing to take up the sword again were I to find an artist willing to do it as a not-for-profit, fun project (as I'm not earning any money from it, either.)
Professional Interest
These sites have some manner of professional relationship or interest to Steven.
- Adobe : The standard for professional graphics and layout software.
- Blambot : A great site for useful and interesting fonts.
- Comicraft : Nice fonts, but (in my opinion) more useful for its tutorials and suggestions on typography and lettering.
- e23 : e23 is an online storefront run by Steve Jackson Games, from which Misfit Studios products may be purchased.
- EnWorld : Perhaps the most extensive web site for Open Game Licensing information and products.
- Hypertext d20 SRD : A valuable writer's resource for easily accessing Wizards of the Coast's Open Game License data.
- Green Ronin : RPG publisher. Steven has freelanced for this company and maintains a working relationship with them so far as he publishes a wide range of M&M Superlink product supplements through Misfit Studios.
- One Book Shelf (OBS) : OBS is the largest online retailer of RPG material, and is one of the storefronts used by Misfit Studios.
- Paizo : Creator of the popular Pathfinder OGL game, and a storefront from which Misfit Studios products may be purchased.
- Pinnacle : Publishers of the Savage Worlds game. Misfit Studios began publishing for the system under license in late 2010.
- RPG.net : Without a doubt the largest community site for the RPG industry.
- YourGamesNow : A small RPG storefront where Misfit Studios products are sold.
... And Now Some People I've Worked With
This is where you'll find some of the individuals I've done business with over the years (those that have their own sites, anyway) and wanted to give a nod of the cap to.
- ChristinaStiles.Com : I first "met" Christina when she approached me to complete a project she couldn't seem to get started with the other writers she'd tried out. That project would later become SpirosBlaak. Since then, she's sort of folded her game company under Misfit Studios' wide umbrella and has done some writing and line development for the company. Oddly, despite having worked closely on a number of projects together for approaching a decade, these two have never met.
- The Art of Eric Lofgren : Eric Lofgren's site. A fantastic artist who collaborated on Better Mousetrap from the artistic side, and has done several covers for Misfit Studios.
- GDupuis.Com : Gary Dupuis' site. One of the first artists to work with Misfit Studios, Gary is as reliable as he is talented.
- Harsh : Scott Harshbarger's site. An artist that has, in the time I've been working with him, come a long way in his craft (and he keeps getting better.) Scott has done most of Misfit Studios' 2008-2010 product illostrations.
- Jon Hodgson Illustration : Jon Hodgson's site. A fantastic artist with a digital style that looks like it was actually painted. I've freelanced on some projects with Jon, and wish I could bring him onboard for some Misfit Studios work.
- Wonderealm : Shawn Richter's site. The first artist Misfit Studios contracted, as well as my Misfits In Action collaborator.
